I love how she keeps saying she's singing when the pollito is whining/crying. It is anxious/afraid when they are making those noises, which is common when they are abandoned or their mother has died.
Regardless, kudos to her for raising a chicken like that, they can be extremely needy.

What always amazes me with these types of videos is how these wild creatures seem to reject/resist their natural instincts & seem to adapt so easily & trustingly to live with humans as members of the family. Thank you for this heart-warming story!

This chicken is very lucky I like to rescue bird too and would liked to rescue all innocence animals but I don't have huge open field at where I'm living now.
I'm so happy when I see people rescue and care for animals, that is good karma for you!

Back in the 80s my mom found a baby bird that fallen out of the nest. She raised it on a soy based baby formula with small pieces of bread soaked in it. He turned out to be a starling and lived to be 17 years old. His name was Sugarfoot.

I'm 73 and since early childhood I always had a dog. Greatest experience for a kid. 1 Sheppard I had for 15 years. Another for 16 years! What love they all gave was more than I could return! I'm very happy for your view on life!
