It makes me wonder if that cat could still kill another rodent, or small creature. With that friendship, will a cat's instinct to kill small creatures diminish, disappear, or will it always be there I do not think it entirely unusual for a cat to be like this with another creature, but that instinct must be challenged, psychologically, due to this friendship.

I’m sorry but that is DISGUSTING idk how you can have that in your House and let your Cat Lick that Dirty Virmin. And Cats Usually Go After Mouses I dont know about Rats they seem a little too big idk i would never have them in my HOUSE Let alone LET A HUMAN KISS A RAT WHAT THE HECK!

I still don't support relationships like this. This is basically a prey and a hunter together, and this could end really bad in any moment, since you can't really predict how will the cat or the rat act, and they shouldn't have been introduced to each other in the first place.

It's really cute, but be careful of Leptospirosis coming from rat pee. Do not touch your face or mouth, or food after cleaning the cage area of the rat or meanwhile or after playing with the rat. Leptospirosis kill many farmers, when rats live under the horse hay.

even tho bernie and the cat are friends, bernie shouldve had a friend rat in the first place. besides, cats can make rats sick if they bite or slap (yes, that includes play biting and slapping)

This is actually really sad. Rats always need a companion so you should ALWAYS buy them in pairs. This rat is so desperate for social interaction it turned to its natural predator.

I have had pet rats. they're pretty good mates however not all have good temperaments. and rats are SUPER clean and smell like perfume believe it or not. great video though.

I hat a cat and rat years ago. They adored each other. However, I would still put my rat in her cage when I wasn’t home, after all a cat is still a cat.
