How on earth could someone do this to an animal This is astounding! Why didn’t the owner give the horse away 10 years ago if they could not afford to take care of this horse. They have been feeding this animal for 10 years why couldn’t they take care of the hooves I think the owner was cruel on purpose!

Thanks Days End Farm Horse rescue for saving Quest! I’m going to volunteer there for the barn and we went to the orientation, one of the people who gave the orientation showed us the video of Quest’s story! I hate it when people abuse horses, some people don’t deserve animals.

That horse looks amazing now thank you for giving him a second chance but I know what I’d like to do to the previous owner I’d like to stick him in a dark hole with no sunlight and let that bastard stay there for 10 to 14 years I hope you’ve prosecuted the bastards

I won't lie I have almost made the same mistake of getting a animal that i would love but not understand how long it would live and the maintenance that it would need so I decided to not get that animal until I was ready and I still have not gotten that animal

Wow, why do these type of imbeciles have animals that they can not take care of. It is a shame, where is the ASPCA and the Police. These people should be arrested and charged with animal cruelty. I am so disgusted that these imbeciles keep getting away with it.

Something kinda FUNNY and FISHY about this tale. Hes locked up in there for 10 plus years. but he dont look emaciated skin & bone. in fact he looks pretty good and his mane & tail dont look like a 10 year unkempt hair.

Who could treat that beautiful pony so badly! I want to grab every abused horse in the world and carry them to safety, but this one is such a beauty, he could have lived his whole life as someone's darling and been loved and adored all along.

I am lost for words as well. Ten to twelve years locked up. Monsters are the only ones that do that. God gifted us all these animals for us to care for them. That is how we receive by giving of ourselves. Glad he has been rescued.

its so sickening that a human being could be so cruel to this horse. so depraved, so utterly mean and demented to treat a living soul as this sweet horse in such a horrible way, years in prison isnt enough punishment.

Oh he is just so gorgeous, that poor boy, imagine having to manage with those hooves. He looks well and happy now, and his new owner looks overjoyed to have him. I hope they have a long happy partnership together

I just saw quest today at a local community show! An absolute sweetheart in person, very calm. You would have never even known the things he's been through. He sports an adorable braid on his mane too!

Those people who do evil things like this to horses should be tortured like they hurt animals have them abandoned and tie 30 pound of weight to their feet. So cruel and disgusting.
