so I fox hunt but I can explain you see we don't really kill them in the US we do this thing where you yes hunt them but no don't kill them that means we hunt them but if we see that they are going to kill them then we stop it we kill coyotes more then anything so in the US we don't kill fox even though it is in out name we kill coyotes I hope this helps! xx ask any questions if you have any and ill try and get to them

My family have fox hunted this way for 300 years when the laws came in fox populations went down dramatically due to the fact that my grandfathers tenants were told they weren’t allowed to shoot the foxes in their leases as he would hunt them. He could only hunt a small portion of the population in a year now they find their dens dig them out and shoot them. You idiots are killing them faster.

The reason the government must do it is to avoid violence. Otherwise the landowner would be forces to physically remove the trespasser. Folks in Britain have been accommodating by allowing others to walk on their fields. You do not own the fields. They are privately held and are used by the public by license not right. The license may be withdrawn by the landowner at any time.

Foxes carrys diseases like for example rabies, and one touch of that whitout a vaccine and your dead son! and its not a nice way too go either. But foxes are big carriers of scabies as well and other diseases/bacteria. Keep your kids and pets away from them, they are scavangers that feed on the dead for the most. Its not a cute pet and should not be treated like one!

The problem also comes with packs of dogs being hard to control. High prey drive, and large areas the dogs could easily trespass into residential areas, be run over, attack children or family pets.
This being an upperclass sport makes it all the more disgusting. Lives are not valuable to these people. Entertainment reins their minds.

this is cruel to every animal involved, fox of course dies eventually, but also the horses may break something while running (therefore put down) and the dog could be hurt by the horses, let alone the fact that dogs that do not performe well in many hunt gets puts down, regardless the age, unlikely the hunter rarely get hurt

Oh and while I’m at it, they all call it a sport. When the fox goes to ground, you’d think the fox won. oh no, the c will dig it out of its set. And heaven help you, if the fox runs across your property. Because the c will ride straight though, causing mayhem.

As a horse rider myself for 25 years, I mainly show jumped with the BSJA. I never took part in hunting, I hated it. And most people I new who rode couldn’t understand why. My response was always I don’t like killing animals, and you can’t win anything.

Hunts are absolutely brutal. It’s an entire pack of dogs against one fox. If people hate foxes so much, then they should find more ethical ways to take care of them, but it seems like this hatred is just for fun Horrible.
