When I saw the snow on the interstate, right after you said where you were driving to and where you were starting from, time just stopped for a second because my first thought was that the highway was going to be shut down. And then you said exactly what I was thinking. So glad the weather cut you some slack.

OMG! To think, if he did not come along in his Kayak, that beautiful little pup would have died out there alone. So sad. But it is so great that he was rescued, cared for and got a better life. So beautiful. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that had a part in his rescue and recovery! You are all angels!

This is what a real dog rescue looks like. Not some anonymous garbage where they won't put their faces on camera and dont show that they took them to the vet while titling their videos as a rescue. YT needs to clean alot of these out. They're just predators.

i think perhaps this pup was, in fact, someone's pet that they took fishing there once, puppy ran off to explore or maybe something bad happened (maybe even purposely abandoned ) and then just wound up a castaway

This is a great story. It would be really good if someone dev a small documentary for little kids to see. It would expand kids thoughts just like myths do when you tell these classic myths to children.

Great job guys. when we rescue a dog or cat that needs us they end up doing the same for us. They bring out the 7 year old in our hearts and make our lives so much richer.

Can you picture just how famished he must have been He was lucky; time wasn't on his side. Now, he's not alone, enduring hardship; even dogs have their prayers answered.

While the rescue and care is just fantastic, showing emaciated dogs with no warning is extremely upsetting. Please don't do this.

Great story, but I wonder if he checked the fishing shack. I hope the owner hadn't died and no one noticed.
