Giant Dog Who Lived In A Crate For 6 Years Freaks Out Over Her First Cheeseburger Sad thing is there are probably many more that are living in these conditions I will never understand why people would get a dog and then keep it in a crate I rescued a rat terrier that had lived it’s first year of life in a crate we got rid of that thing right away and she got to do whatever she wanted best dog I ever had she lived 19 years and slept right next to me that dog knew I saved her it just boils my blood when I see this kind of treatment

Whoever kept Angelica in a cage for six years (Spud too, would probably be screaming if they were in there for six minutes. Notice, I didn't use person as a description because that individual is not one of us. Angelica and Spud have thankfully ended up where they deserve to be. Whoever did this to them needs to be thankful that they haven't ended up where they deserve to be, as that is somewhere worse than a cage.

Angelica said something I’ve been thinking about a lot after watching these videos. Somehow these dogs are able to let go of the past and enjoy their new present. Maybe researchers can figure how they do this and it could be a model for us humans.

Is this video saying that the animals were LEFT in the crate, like day and night Never allowed out That's incredible. I'm amazed that the animals could be rehabilitated after that. Surely they must have permanent health issues.
reply

Absolutely cruel and disgusting. How anyone could do that to any living creature. Unconscionable. God, I really hate people sometimes. Then there are people who are true heroes who go out and rescue these animals.
reply

Was anyone charged for their misery. Animal abuse is supposed to be a felony and should be prosecuted with extreme prejudice. Thank to all involved in Spuds and Angelica’s rescue
reply

Why do people get dogs if they are just going to do this
I don’t get it. There are so many people who would love the dog/dogs who would take them if you just ask around.

This clip kinda makes me feel bad about returning my dog the Humane Society for misbehaving. I did warn her, If you don't let me eat a slice of cheese in peace, you're going back.
reply

This video made me cry and believe me, I watch a lot of dog videos, when she saw her pal again that got me. I love these people who save, abused animals. Aloha.
reply

I loved how excited and happy the lady was when she gave the cheeseburger.
So good to see these two lovely dogs getting the happiness they so justly deserved

dogs are special creatures, they are the only animal that reads our emotions and intentions, they engage us on the emotional level and that makes them special!
reply

i don't know how old this video really is but, this same kind of story takes up a big chunk of the plot point in the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie.

Dogs never forget their friends! I believe when they pass, they probably have many friends waiting for them in the great beyond They're not alone.
reply

Such kindness for a dog but the cow that probably lived a horrible life before being butchered is just called a cheeseburger. I find this very strange.
reply

Don’t know which is worse torture, 10 years locked in a crate or the new diet of McDonald’sRIP, Angelica, you were a good dog.
reply

She is beautiful.
What kind of monster keeps a dog in a cage for any length of time Six years is a monumental crime.

Thank you for rescuing these sad, abused, neglected dogs, saving their lives, and getting them adopted into loving homes!
reply

These crates are simply prisons for lazy owners to just put the dogs in and forget about them. Crates are cruel
reply

For all you animal abusers your reckoning is coming the day when God will turn his back on you. God help us all
reply

That Dr Fauci traitor does this to 10. s of thousands of dogs every year for medical testing. disgusting.

Angelica and Spud must be so happy to get rid of the bad smell they were living with in those crates.
