Guy Saves Bald Eagle From Drowning In River Faith = Restored I’ve never got to experience anything quite like that but once at Dollywood at a show for their eagle exhibit where they than them & release them if it’s possible. I was chosen out of the audience to wear the big leather falconer’s glove & the guy doing the show stood well outside of the pavilion & I stood on the stage & he released a bald eagle & it landed on my arm. Even w that thick leather glove that went up to my elbow I could still feel the power & a little of the sharpness of the claws on its talons. I was only 14 at the time so I was more nervous than I would be now, not that I’d still not be somewhat nervous. So I didn’t get any type of look into its eyes.

Many years ago, when my kids were at junior school, we rescued an abandoned baby thrush. We put a newspaper plea out for worms, and we had plenty donated, which we fed to her with beaten egg. We watched her feathers developed and we were invited to my children's school. She took off and had a fly around the classroom, and then, much to my sons delight, she saw him and flew down to land on him! She was with us for several days after she was fit enough to leave but stayed around before eventually going for freedom. Kids are in their 40s now but we still talk about her. Nana Karen UK

I imagine some wild animals get frozen when you help them because they cant comprehend the concept of kindness because they dont really get to experience it in the wild.
Like they cant figure out why this big thing is not hurting me or eating me while at the same time being glad they are no longer in a dangerous situation.
Its liker how some people have to teach pet chickens or any birds that being pet feels good because being pet is not a natural thing to them.
Meanwhile most mammals do engage in physical contact between each-other so it does come neutrally to them.

What an incredible story! Acts of bravery and kindness, like saving an animal in distress, truly have the power to inspire and uplift us. It's heartwarming to see someone go out of their way to help another living being, and it's a beautiful reminder of the impact we can have on the world around us. Stories like this one shared by The Dodo often bring light to the goodness and courage that exist, helping to restore faith in humanity. Thank you for bringing such an uplifting tale to attention! My father said that shortly before I was born, he held an injured eagle on a plane ride to an animal sanctuary, and he said that they were staring out the window the whole flight. I can imagine how confused they must have been - how could they see the same sight they do when they fly, even though they weren’t even moving

God judges those by how they treat those that can do nothing for them. Im sure these people made God happy.
We eat Gods creatures as intended but we were also taught mercy, goodness, charity, kindness, respect for the lords kingdom and its denizens.

It's incredible how animals can intuitively feel when they're receiving help and are safe, even those that are typically defensive and less domesticated. Truly fascinating.

I rescued a Kestrel once and was forever affected by the experience. I can't even imagine how these folks feel after such an experience with a massive bird like this.
