Cat Is SO Gentle With His Squirrel Brother Odd Couples You did the right thing by saving the squirrel from the other two as they would have probably killed him or left him wounded badly and eventually died a horrible death and I praise you. Thats amazing that the cat was playful with the Squirrel at first, but not too rough to hurt him.
Enjoy them while their around. By the way since this video is from 4 years ago, do you have an update on them

Really great story, guys. My family had a few squirrel rescues when I was a kid. They sure enlivened our family life.
Thanks so much for sharing their sweet story with us. Brought back some happy memories for me. Ginger cats are the best. I've had 4 over the years & each 1 enriched my life enormously. Great personalities that made for some hilarious times. May you have many happy years together.

When Jack wants to be left alone, he whispers to Tommy: One weekend, when Mom and Dad are away, guess who is going to be lunch.
Tommy's response: Oooh, scary, I hope it is not like the last twenteen weekends when Mom and Dad were gone, and you would check up on me every five minutes to make sure I am OK.

reply

My guess is Tommy suffered some kind of brain injury. You’re all lucky to have found each other. The combo of relationships and behaviors is just more proof that far too many people including scientists still misjudge what constitutes intelligence, communication, and understanding.

What an incredibly surprising friendship! They are just too cute together! If any cat could be a buddy to a squirrel, it's a ginger tabby! I LOVE All cats, but there is something Truly Special about those gingers!

I love two friends with so many differences getting along. Maybe, they know that the differences stimulate the similarities. Is it something people could learn Probably not, there is no profit in it.

That video was amazing & awesome! The squirrel has a lot of character & brings a lot of play time for kitty he or she is silly what's not to adore & love! Keep posting videos I'd love to watch them

Pet squirrels are the sweetest. They love to eat green grapes. I had one and could sit outside and handfeed the wild ones. They would crawl up to my window to let me know they wanted food.

2: 38 what should be a while animal just decided to be part of our tribe
Decided or accepted In the video it was only shown you took the animal in, not that you tried to release it.

Please take away the colar of the cat, it looks much too tight. that's why her fur is not so well cared. It is very uncomfortable for the cat. Please think of that. Thank you.

Unusual that cat would normally kill something like a little chipmunk or squirrel but it doesn't want to harm it I guess needs a little friend I think it's cute and so cool

Poor sweetheart of a squirrel I'm so very happy this little lovable squirrel found a true loving home with a loving stand in family to share there life with

Squirrels usually abandon their offspring if they realise they’re disabled. If these people hadn’t rescued him he’d have starved or froze to death.

Cats can have CH. I'm sure squirrels can probably have it, too, but wouldn't survive in the wild with it. He's lucky to have encountered such caring people!
reply

So so cute. thank you for caring for him. who would have thought a cat and a squirrel. I have a cat and she would have ate him he’s just adorable.
reply

the cat is not there to occupy the squirrel he looks pretty bothered by it even though he's being good about it he's not your squirrel babysitter

I wonder if he uses the cat box. Too cute watching these guys play. You did a good deed bringing in Tommy, he wouldn't have made it outside.
reply

Good God these people have got a squirrel with metabolic syndrome and they need to feed it calcium. But they're too dumb to know that
reply

We do not have squirrels in New Zealand and that is a shame. But l will swap a possum or a wingless bird for one.

Why didn't you take the squirrel to a rehab where he could be with other squirrels at the very least
reply

You did the right thing, little squirrel is just a little too wobbly for the wild, bless your tribe. R x

You've got the very calm, nurturing, gentle big brother who happens to be your PREDATOR.

It was a cute, heartwarming video until the humans showed their faces and ruined it.
