Watch This Guy Slowly Win Over His Rescue Dog Who Was Scared Of Men Faith = Restored lol hey, your head is in my crotch! you cool with that LMFAO! too funny, and i agree, always worth it. i do rescue and i was able to trap a whole family of feral dogs. i knew going in they would stay with me, be my babies. well, most of them took to me quite quickly but one held out, stayed as far from me in his fenced yard as he could. but i kept plugginh away. i played a talk radio 24/7 so he could hear lots of different human voices, i talked to him soothingly, spent time just inside his area. he felll in love with one of my females, and that helped him a lot, Bonnie and Clyde. LOL perfect names for the duo. anyway after a long time, he is now my buddy, we dont always know what they left when they come to us, and just like with people, they sometimes come with a lot of baggage, a lot of trauma. it takes time. all worth it!

I always wondered do U think Pablo tells all his Dog Buddies about how it only took less than 6 months to train this Big Guy to do what he was told. That at first he had to be very aggressive with him until the big guy learned that he had to give food, treats and belly rubs whenever he was told to. Then slowly he was able to stop growling at him and charging and attack him. But with time and a little bit of aggression he was able to train the big guy to do what he was meant to do. Giving Pablo lots of food, treats and lots of belly rubs like he was trained and told to do. And Pablo still thinks that aggression is the answer. The big guy is trained and a perfect pet for Pablo now. LMAO

We rescued our dog nine months ago. He’s still terrified of me. Won’t even stay in the same room as me unless my wife is there too. It’s obvious a man in his past beat him. All I want to do is love on him, and because someone else did something terrible, I can’t even be with my dog. I’m hoping maybe after a few years, things may change.

Some dogs have been written off as aggressive because they have been through systematic abuse and they lost their trust in humanity. There are few people willing to take the risk of making them love again. This is one amazing dude right there. I wish there were more like him. I wish there were people doing that for humans who have been written off.

You’re surrounded by too much women. It would of been better served had you taken him deep into the forest, and bond over the first and solitary experience. A man hurt this dog, and only a man can bring him back around again. But not in the presence of females. You did it brother, but you could of done it faster

A lot like my boy. Adopted my boy Hennessy from the shelter. He was abused and did not like loud noises or quick hand movements. 2 months of consistent love and direction and yes the biggest love I’ve ever had. So amazing these little guys are.

And if Satan and the gates of hell came for you, I can't guarantee who all will stand by your side. But I can guarantee 1. Pablo would be standing next to you, firm, without question. He wouldn't know any other option. THAT'S loyalty

Update on Pablo
Unfortunately Pablo passed away two years ago from cancer. I’m so happy he got to live the rest of his life with a loving family that treated him like the good boy he was! May he rest well and forever in peace!

When I was incredibly young we had a rescue dog who was afraid of men. One day my dad was trying to get him to the vet and he bit my dad. The dog ended up vanishing after that i dont know if we rehomes him or what.

Respect. Can't explain the love you have for a dog. It's sorta like the love of a newborn. The only thing is when the dog turns into a teenager, he'll still love and want to be under you. The teen lol not so much

You sir, are the epitome of true love and dedication, as somebody who works with many types of dogs, your Technique is amazing, you trained this house hippo to fall in love with you, and nobody will love you more

We have a Rotti and she’s perfect but we have had a couple of pit bulls and they have been nothing but gentle and loving dogs we’ve had no problems with at all other than they may have been overly friendly

Poor boy. You know he was terribly abused to have that level of fear & defensiveness. Poor boy. I'm so glad you found Pablo & showed him the love & patience he needed.
reply

Great job in the know how to help a pup in distress. Patience is an amazing quality to have. Much respect for caring enough to give this great pup a chance.
reply

you know what's weird, you feature a lot of dogs that arent allowed in other countries, so that's says is all. don't promote these dogs to people with no exp.
reply

I have a staffordshire pit bull and he was also wary of ppl, we are also getting through it and making progress. They are definitely worth it, Good going!

Manny is a gentleman with a heart of gold, young men should be looking to aspire to be like him and not a fraud like Andrew Tate.
reply

He just wanted you to know if you ever be mean to him like the last guy. You are truly amazing for not giving up on him.
reply

You didn’t give up on him you said what the world needs love and patience! You’re forever locked in his heart now.
reply

Lesson I've learned over time as the things that people value the most they have to earn including love
reply

I wish all dogs could have a Daddy like Pablo’s. What a wonderful patient and loving man.

The world needs more people like you. Thank you for showing us. Love is special.

The fact that Manny doesn't even hit Pablo while gaining his trust melts my heart
reply

You can tell alot about the character of a person, by how Dogs react to them.

Even a PitBull knows that you lose your dangerous edge once you’re in duck pajamas
reply

It's hard to be intimidated by a pittie in ducky pajamas Best doggy Dad ever!
reply

this is what i’m trying to do now, my rescue is afraid of me getting too close
reply

What a wonderful man and how lucky is the dog to find a beautiful sanctuary
reply

So much fear in his eyes but no aggression. So glad he found his dad.
