We adopted a bulldog a year after getting married, and our bulldog, Clementine, acted the same way when we had kids. The first time she saw our daughter, you could tell she was thinking, I'm her protector now. My son would pull her ears when he was a toddler, but she would lick him. It's been a few years since she passed, but there's not a day that I don't think of her and the joy she brought the entire family.

My tears well-up whenever I see this lovely bulldog and his Brothers - such love seems seldom to be seen in our friends these days. I love he and his Brothers so much, and yet they will be grown up and remember with great love their loving protector as they grew up, long after I am gone. Bless you parents for bringing love into their little lives.

I still can't understand why people let dogs get that close to babies. Bad thing will happen in the end. One time is too many. And things like this can be easily avoided. We are suppose to protect Our Children. By ALL Means. Not put them in Any type of Danger. And We know for a Fact that Dogs kills Babies and Even Adults.

I'm not a fan of Bulldogs, but this video changed my mind about them. Their underbite is cute and I never knew how protective they are around children. What really amused me the most is that this dog loved to swim and favored the fireplace. I would love to see more videos of this particular bulldog.

Friendly reminder not to pick up your dogs with your hands in their armpits, especially with such a dense doglol. Their shoulders don’t function like ours and it’s not good to have all their body weight on their shoulders.

Way back when I was a toddler my mom told me a story that we once had a bulldog for a pet and he was protective of me, that he even killed a snake in our yard when it got too close to me. They are truly special breeds

One of things about having an English Bulldog more so than any other breed I've been around, is they HAVE to be a part of whatever you're doing and if not, the yoda-esque whining will make you do it lolol

Bull Dogs are a trip. Get them to jump up and they go sideways and usually fall over like a bag of taters'! Dancers they are not. Loyal big, funny babies yes. Nice story, nice family. Bless you.
