Tiny Baby Mouse Found Tucked Into Blankets Little But Fierce Living in a cabin in the middle of the woods, I am not so compassionate and it breaks my heart having to drown them when theyre struggling on the sticky trap. How many bags of all-you-can-eat mouse poison can they eat Its always the adolescents that have the least respect high as a kite running in circles taunting me to try to get them. I just sat there.
Sticky traps work great. We make narrow ways along their favorite paths so they cant avoid the sticky trap. I bought an electric shocker as well from Lowes. In over two years it has not killed a single thing and the batteries are still in good shape. The bags are poisonous treats gets them high but doesnt seem to kill them, and subsequent new mice wont touch the tasty treats. Also I have my dog to consider. Im not sure if its safe for her to eat poisoned mice. Coming into the room with the sticky mouse stuck on her paw, the age-old question are they better fresh or aged answered, the almost clean sticky trap ready for another load.
I too would enjoy having a little friendly mouse, unfortunately I have way too many, and they like my food.
Sticky traps are best, snappy traps are good, all-you-can-eat poison is expensive and not very tasty, new generations of mice wont eat it.
Hopefully itll be just you and your mouse. If not, hundreds of grandchildren just a few months away.

Me and my brother live on a farm, and we have a compost bin for our compost to rot in and be used in our garden. As we have found out the compost heats up enough to be a very cozy mouse den. For it to rot properly we have to flip the compost and in doing so we destroyed a mouse den with 12 baby mice, there were 5 bigger one and the rest were no older than 1 week. 3 died but we managed to save the rest. we have been feeding them for a week now. Here is an image of the box we keep them in and the red light is from our heater lamp.

I found a house mouse baby in my appartment. We had a cold winter so did not have it in me to let it go until it was warm out. I let him go and ran back to me for a quick bit then bounded away under a big pine tree to dig his new home. mice are wild animals still and belong in the wild. Also, house mice love sandy beds so then can dig tunnels and make different chambers. They are not the same as fancy mice from the pet shop. Just a tip if you want it to keep its natural instincts.

Rodents in general are given a bad rap that is not deserved. I had enjoying playing with lab rats my neighbor and her husband bred. I once owned a golden hamster and more recently purchased a male winter white dwarf hamster I named Pufnstuf. It was fascinating to watch little Greta grow from a pinkie or pup (terms for a baby mouse) to a mouse. She will probably not live long but she will keep amusing and loving you. Thank you for sharing your rescue of such a little thing.

These parents need to think, when they said they couldn't release the mouse yet because it was too cold did they ever realize the mouse would have to face that temperature some time again, so there is no point in waiting in putting all that stress on the mouse by putting it in that tiny ass cage. Also just saying, they could have used mouse repellent instead of a trap.

The paint brush feeding is such a good idea.
Theres something called an artists 'Rigger' brush. I think would be ideal for a tiny mouse. if the need arose: )
They've got a very fine brush that holds way more liquid and doesnt drip. Designed fof a continuos stroke without reloading.

The mother mouse must have known that her baby was going to be cared for, and made sure that she was safe b4 she passed away, who says that animals don't have feeling, we do, so of course animals do also, this little baby made me laugh so much, and she clearly loves you, have a great week.

It is one of God's creature so, if you did not help a little baby, what are you going to say to God when asked Why did you not help his creature There is not other choice but to help all little babies and creature no matter the bread.

I had a couple mice as pets when I was a kid and the memories are wonderful. One of them lived for two years and she was so sweet and soft, loved to run around on my bed and under my shirt while I read.

Mice are so much smarter and capable of strong emotional bonds than most think. If only more of our foul species helped our fellow creatures. Thank you!

This young woman, like the animals she loves so well, is a gift from Mother Earth to be treasured. Wishing her all the good life has to bring.

Nasty disease carrying rats! Nope! Rats and mice don't have bladders, so they continually pee all over every thing! That thing would be gone!

Pretty darn impressive, what she did there she must be a natural! I probably would’ve accidentally killed that extra smol baby mouse!

Heck, what a lovely girl to devote so much time to a tiny creature. Greta's mum chose her, I think, Animals know who their friends are.
