The fact the father who found him worked tirelessly to revive him was touching enough, but when the other family took him in, and gave him a loving home was so sweet. Now finding out Lazarus has passed on is heartbreaking. He was a sweet little baby boy, and got all the love he needed to go on, but it just goes to show you never know what will happen. RIP Sweet Lazarus

Chest compressions is not enough. The first thing you need to do is regulate body temperature. It can take an hour or longer to get the body temperature up to normal. You can use a heating pad or heat a towel in the dryer before wrapping the animal in it. A vet would have given it an IV to rehydrate it and to get the blood circulating.

This is definitely one of those feel good cat stories! I DEFINITELY wanna see another update when Hazy graduates high school and goes off to college. You never know. Lazarus might be sad to see her go. Lazarus is an indoor cat. He should be around to see that milestone in his sister's life.

I love the tiny pancakes they made for him. the one guy who kept trying to get his little heart started really instinctively knew what to do & the family who took him in seem to be the best people who could give him a forever home! Very interesting story & heartwarming for sure!

Sadly, in 2020 Lazarus passed away after his bladder was blocked with stones. The vets tried to put a catheter in but they couldn't even do that. He is still a miracle kitty and got to love his family for 5 years.

He only made it to five, but that is five more happy years with a loving family that he would not of gotten had they not found and rescued the frozen kitten. He now waits for the family by the bridge.

I find it hard to believe that they were randomly filming an average day just to stumble upon a WHITE cat in the WHITE snow. Almost like they knew where it was beforehand.
