Dying Chimp Says Goodbye To Old Friend

I thought she was sick, so I took her to the vet after not eating for 2 days, and hardly moving any. hoping that she just had a bad cold or problems with digestion. They ran a series of tests on her, and I left her with them just for the night, so they could monitor her. I hugged her and kissed her and said see ya tomorrow honey. :)
In the morning I phoned to announce that I was coming to see her or take her home if possible. They said she passed during the night. :( I. am sorry my dear. :( I would have stayed if I knew it was your last night. :(

It's so good to see morality building up in people with mordanity. Ours was the only civilization which never discriminated between human and animals and treated them equally and thanks to which a majority of our population is still vegetarian. Poor Mama. Whole life in captivity. At least she had this one happy moment before she passed. I wish humans would treat animal’s with respect and leave them to live their natural lives in nature. Humans deserve to be extinct so that the other animals can live the way they were meant to

This is the best we can do for our elderly. More than medicines, bring back their loved ones or friends to see them and make them realize they lived a good life. Thanks to this chimp who tells us in simple but most powerful way to show what humanity should be.

Makes me cry every time watching this. When I lost my cat of 18 years I stayed up with him the whole evening before he was put to sleep. I cried for days before and afterwards and did everything I could to comfort him on his last evening with me.
