Flick sucks on things because he was weaned too soon from his mother because she rejected him. He will more than likely suck on things his entire life. I have seen other animal species with that same sucking issue.

One thing I do not like about the adopted lamb being a boy is that he might end up for meat unless he is sold to another farm as a stud animal, female lambs at least remain on the farm because they can reproduce.

usually, sheep and goats in adulthood need special salt to chew, when I was young, my parents had lots of sheep and goats. You can ask the vet for more information.
