The animal rescue industry keeps taking the long, circuitous, laborious route around getting companion animals re-classified as not merely property. Just work to have traditional companion animals, such as dogs, cats, birds, as de facto __guardian ad litem__ eligible on receipt. And you refuse to openly, loudly, earnestly, uniformly, in writing, at every opportunity possible, vow to never seek the same for traditional livestock. Because ranchers, farmers, and meat eaters everywhere see that slippery slope from a mile away and they will fight you on that as if their lives depend on it and that's because it is existential. You keep making the wrong compromises. rant over

Ohmigod, I can't imagine the suffering of that poor little guy! I bet he felt so much better after just getting all of that matted hair off of him. The little tail wagging the entire time they were bathing him really said it all! I'm so glad he was rescued from whatever horrible situation he was in and a good, loving family was found for him!

poor baby. i hope they got him a properly sized collar. that one is for a big dog and im sure his skin is sensitive. my dogs only weat collars when necessary. imagine having that thing around your neck 24/7. Good rescue. So many 'rescue videos on social media are fake, with people harming dogs just to make rescue videos for views.

Certain Breeds of dogs MUST be groomed on a regular basis and if you can't afford it or do it yourself, don't get that breed. This poor little guy was carrying hair around that weighed way too much for his little body. So cruel for anyone to allow that to happen. Glad this guy now has a good home.

Simon (SAYS) Has a lot of untreated fur! He looked like a rag dog! But with the kindness of people, he was transformed into a beautiful show dog! He just needs some TLC! And LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION! Now, Simon Is SENSATIONAL! What a difference CARING CAN MAKE! Thank You!

How many people walked by or saw this dog, who would have been in excruciating pain from the tightness, weight and heat They were as cruel as anyone who let him get this way in the first place! If you see something, abuse or neglect, its your responsibilty to say something!

This beautiful animal, after being sedated when he woke up.
Bloody hell, he must've thought he died and went to heaven with all those matted clumps of hair gone.
What an absolute relief and so much joy after carrying that load.

How long must this little one been out there to be in this bad of a shape shape. It's amazing he survived out on his own. You almost couldn't tell the front from the back.

that is the worst condition I have seen. plus see how his sinuses go in and out at the end. it is wrong to breed brachycephalic dogs. it is a deformity. poor thing. He probably needs surgery.

You should really be wearing gloves guys. You know being veterinary medicine specialist! And yes you have O2 on the patient but not a monitor in site while under sedation.
