Shaking dog was so scared to ride in the car until she realized she got to go to the McDonald's drive-thru every time We talked to her rescuer about what it was like to see Cocoa Bean wait eagerly for her cheeseburger, and finally find the perfect forever family. You have to watch out now though because McDonald's has taken to cooking their regular meat patties WITH DICED ONIONS (rehydrated) as standard practice, and onions are a big no-no for dogs. Because of that, I no longer go to McDonald's to get my Husky's burger patties. Instead I go to Wendy's, where they cook them plain. Also, at Wendy's, I splurge and get my Husky three large patties, just the patties, for $1. 50 each. It's called Large Patty on their computer system. Not all Wendy's will allow you to do that, some insisting that you buy the entire burger, which costs more. For example, the Wendy's in Willard Ohio insists that you buy the entire burger, e. g. a Dave's Triple to get three large patties, So it costs $7. 69 instead of $4. 50, and that's why I never get them there.
Just FYI.

Personally, I do not particularly like fast food. but who knows how many rescued dogs were made happy by this. It is heartbraking to see a dog in such fear. On the other hand it is heartwarming to see that fear go away when you give him a hamburger.

Guess I should try this with my dog. She gets so anxious about the car that she drools literally buckets, even with a doggy seat cover she gets it all over the car. So I don't take her anywhere unless she has to go to the vet

If you really loved your dog you would NEVER give them McDonalds! McDonalds is not food it's poison and terrible for health! If you want to treat them get them a real burger not fake, chemical filled McDonalds!

She's absolutely adorable, I'm so happy someone rescued her and found her forever home. It's so sad when people get pets and then abandon them. You wouldn't do that to your children, would you

It's much better for a dog to associate car rides with cheeseburgers than experiences like VET appointments. Instead of hiding or refusing to walk, she might even get the keys for you!

Judging by her form, she's getting perhaps a bit too much of those All jokes aside, just remember salts etc on those things, and thank you for taking care of her!

What a super super sweet dog. And she is getting pampered in love like a dog should. Thank both of these ladies for their kindness

When you order at McD's, specify no-salt if you're giving it to a dog. No condiment means plain, which is not the same as no salt.
