Just got my latest gift from the cat distribution system, she was hiding under the bed in an animal (mostly reptile) hoarding situation I was called too. Thank God she started meowing, we had no idea she was there and would have left her to starve if she hadn’t made her presence known. She is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. Extremely friendly and always begging for affection. She took the eye infection ointment I had to give her with no issues as well (usually it’s a lot more difficult lol. I’m grateful for my little Missy

One of our cats arrived via the local McDonald's parking lot distribution facility. Just keep in mind cats spread toxoplasmosis (which is why pregnant women and those trying to become pregnant are advised not to clean the litter box. It makes prey animals less afraid of and humans more attracted to cats. Sooo. yeah a plot for world domination. Thank goodness our Overlords are so cuddly.

I’ve had cats since 1980. Four years ago I got my first pair. And I love them to pieces and they take advantage of it. My girl is taking her morning and will do her afternoon shift on my lap. Her brother takes over the night shift with his sister on or near me. And of course there’s night cuddle at bedtime.

It does seem like we have very little to do with the matchmaking. I envision a large group of cats, hiding in the woods or behind a dumpster. And when a person happens by, they SHOVE one of them out and whisper, Just act cute and helpless. It works!

The cat distribution system does work. I live in a country with very efficient animal control. There are no stray cats and dogs here. And somehow about 5 years ago a stray cat showed up at my doorstep and she hasn't left since. It's real alright.
