My nephew rescued a Magpie in Paris who had fallen out of her nest and was always in danger of being feasted on by a cat He rescued her and nursed her back to health, teaching her to fly around the apartment She was great and flew on our shoulders and loved the company of humans One day he opened the windows and she practiced flying and when she was ready she went off into the trees opposite the building where there were also Magpies but she always came back until one day she didn't come back any more We all hope she's doing well and has found a mate The Lady writer has the same relationship with her Magpie as my nephew and his Beautiful!

you make friends with a magpie, a crow, a cockie or a lauri in au, and you get a friend for life, and not only that, usually their mates and kids come around. I know this as a 3rd generation on the same property and we have birds still visiting my mum, now the grandma used to feed as a kid.

These rescue videos always make me smile! You saved an animal in need, and they show their appreciation in their own special way. I think this bird will always come back to visit even if she finds a mate. It will be a part of your life you’ll never forget and that’s so lovely

Whenever I come across farming, it takes me down memory lane. Losing my farm to the hurricane Florence on September 2018 here in North Carolina dealth a huge jab. But with an influx of $45k monthly made my family happy one more time
