Is it possible that this dogs former owner went swimming and got swept out to sea
That’s the only reason I can imagine this dog would be in the water as if looking for him.
It’s a small chance, but a chance. If I’d had the wherewithal 2eye would’ve checked for missing persons, reports filed around the time I found the dog.
He could’ve been abandoned, but the way he just kept going in and out of the water as if trying to catch a scent makes me think

I am crying for sad and happy. Young lady thank you for not giving up! It something I would do for any animal. I am so sick and tired of hearing or reading these beautiful dogs getting abandoned instead of trying to help the dog find a forever home instead of abandoning them or kill them. Animals are God's creations, people that hurt them you will be greatly JUDGED by God. That is scary. I am so happy the dog found a forever home.

Why do people make up these pathetic narratives about animals and what they are feeling based on human thinking he was looking for his owner, HTF does she know what the dogs intention was. Animals do not think like us, yes they have emotions but the crap people waffle about just shows how detached from the real world they are!

That was wonderful that she saved and rescued him. But i had 4 rescued dogs in my studio apto. So better with me than suffering out there. He loves this family and was abandoned 2 times. I think he was not so happy like was before with the family. Heartbreaking she gave him for adoption

Apparently this dog is abandoned and is probably abandoned again she didn't take it or she would have showed pictures of its new owner artless video showing that he's okay she did not even care sad what did that dog do to you but need love your house looks big enough

I'm so sorry for the family who had to give up their house due to the housing crisis and they couldn't have the dog because of that. I hope that everybody can have a dicent house and i wish a good life to the family to the dog and to the new owner

Thank you sweet lady and her family and the family who took him permanently! I was concerned his original owner may have swam out in the ocean and drowned or committed suicide the way he was watching the water. I sure hope not.

Good job, but not to the end. If I had to live even in a mouse hole, my dog will be always with me. For a dog does not matter how many rooms you have. What matters is your heart and care.

If you're not going to take on the responsibility as a pet owner like adopting a family member then don't get a dog. Family is forever, it doesn't end just because you're inconvenienced.

After earning his trust and bonding with him there’s no way I’d pass him off to ANOTHER person.
I would’ve taken the dog and found a place that could accommodate him.

Either the owner drowned or dropped him off by boat, because it doesn't make sense the dog would look for the owner in the water otherwise.

You get a dog and then give it up for space. Dogs need love not space you take walks and runs no issues keep dog.
