My 11 yr old Shar pei had lupus too. It can be very painful for them and it's difficult to know when they are in pain. See if the vet recommends any cpd oil for dogs. I gave it to my 17 yr old golden she did well on it. I know it's hard because I've been there but you have to do what is in the best interests of your baby, I have a husky too. Talk to your vet to know how long you have before you need to consider your dog is suffering too much. There is no cure for lupus and I had to put my baby down. I've had to put all my dogs down but they lived long happy lives and I will never live without one.

I'm glad they found out what the problem was. Hopefully, the meds will give your fur baby back some quality of life. It's heartbreaking to see anybody in pain like that!
Also, your man is a keeper! He went out and built a igloo for the dog! There aren't that many people who would go to such lengths, but this guy went above and beyond!

Having an undiagnosed illness is so frustrating and leaves you feeling helpless. Even if its not curable, just knowing what is wrong can be a blessing. I’m dealing with this regarding a human, I can’t imagine how difficult it would be with an animal. Thank goodness they discovered the problem and can medicate Wiley. Kudos to his parents for their loving care.

Oh man, I didn't know dogs could even get Lupus. Poor baby. Good thing he has such loving and attentive parents who can afford to take care of him as best they can, and who go the extra mile to make him happy.

It made me sad to see this dog in pain and not able to enjoy its life as fully. Sometimes the kindest thing an owner can do is the hardest thing to doletting the animal go so it no longer has to suffer.

This breaks my heart. Seeing that beautiful boy in pain. I'm so glad they know what he has & the vet can give him adequate medication. So happy that he has loving parents.
