Many times in my life I have experienced this type of interruption, whereby despite all my other responsibilities an unexpected rescue becomes necessary if the animal, (most times a baby bird or injured bird) if it is to survive, and despite having to get up when I am deep in sleep, or having to bring it to work with me, it becomes the most rewarding and joyfull experience. Coming home after work and seeing a wild bird a light on to my shoulder to say hello is also a delight. Sometimes, they remember me.

He didn't realize it. but what this lovely man fell in love with was LIFE. that SPARK that YES! Yes I'm here! Is life itself at it's most vulnerable and that lovely human answered that I'm here! call and just look what loveliness transpired! An absolutely GORGEOUS duck! A dream of a gentleman! Wow!

This made me emotional. Letting the poor baby go must have been heart wrenching but also the best thing for duck. That man is an angel for saving the duck egg, bringing it to life, loving and caring for the little duck and then setting him free when the duck was strong enough.

Congratulations on raising this baby and on being the parent the duckling needed; including letting him be a duck in a suitable location. You will find (or be found by) another creature who needs your love, and your heart will stay strong and full.

Spike struck it so lucky when his egg was found by this chap. It is such a beautiful video. I can't believe all the trouble he went to in order to rescue one fertilised egg. If only humanity at large cared so much about life. All life.

So a man suddenly finds a pristine and clean egg in center-city London and happens to have thousands of dollars in incubation equipment. I am quite disappointed in the Dodo. I mean it is a nice story but it is so obviously FAKE!

Ok first of all Riyadh is absolutely FABULOUS! Second he is such a sweet guy he did a hard thing by letting spike go to the rehabilitation park but he saved a life as well.
