The part where the boy is teaching the pup how to do stairs brought back memories. We got our puppy, Peanut, when I was a kid, and he was very tiny - a Toy Manchester Terrier AND the runt of the litter. I carried him in one hand when we drove him home. He figured out how to go up the stairs on his own, but going down was really daunting for him because he was so small. He'd get stranded upstairs, so I taught him how to go down one stair at a time. He was very smart and learned quickly.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to all the selfless people that save and love all of the animals of the world. It’s so heartbreaking knowing how some people treat animals. You can tell a lot about a person from the way they treat animals. So thank you once again keep doing what you do you are a bright light in a world full of darkness.

The fact that the dog was free, is concerning. Free pet tend to have serious problems. I hope they got Archie checked at the vet, just to make sure he's a healthy little boy. I'd hate for something bad to happen to him. He's to precious.

Genuine question: is there ever a point where one stops referring to your stepchild as a stepchild I've noticed (at least with those with whom I have come into contact with) that the same rarely is the norm when a child is adopted.

Always save free puppies, kittens etc. Free is desperate to find a home and God only knows where they may end up if not taken by someone as kind as this young man. Archie is safe. Thank you

Congrats on your new family member. I hope you are a good stepdad, to your stepson. There are alot of cruel step parents. Your new family member is beautiful fur baby. Love the video

Liam, can we come in Is so cute cuz his mom pry already told him to head to that room, & he’s clearly so excited, but he still had manners enough to ask permission first.

What a responsible young man, so lovely to see him helping and understanding responsibility caring for a animal at such a young age.

Thank you for sharing. It reminds me the day I got Rocky, a German shepherd, when he was a puppy. He brings joy and happiness.

Surprising someone with a puppy might seem sweet, but it’s a huge responsibility. What if the stepson wasn’t ready for a pet

That dog looks exactly like my now deceased pet dog Dolby. This brought a tear to my eye remembering the love I had for that dog
