We got a kennel because one of our dogs likes to take things out the doggy door and turn them into a mess in the back yard (He has never tipped over the trash can though)
We don't have the heart for it. It is folded up in the shed, and we just deal with the destroyed toys and stuffies.
In two years he has destroyed about $1, 000 worth of stuff, you can leave a hamburger on the table and go to the store, but not a stuffie.

I will never understand what do people gain by keeping an animal that they have no intention of taking care of let alone not giving them water. Life sees and hears everything.

That looks like a breeding situation. Why is breeding not made illegal even in countries where shelters are overflowing with abandoned animals I fail to understand.
