to be honest im a huge cat person but i love litten more than meowth #TEAMLITTEN and also charizard isn't a dragon its a pretty common mistake but any true pokemon fan knows charizard looks like a dragon but is a fire flying type and only one of it's megas is a dragon.

Charmander isnt the most recognizable. not even a top 4. meowth, togepi, pikachu, and jigglypuff are the most recognizable for their time on the show as well as the amount of screentime it gets. heck even Misty's starmie was on the show longer than charmander.
