Firstly, no matter what movie it is, you can always find something that somebody who was working on the movie did that was bad, thats not anything to do with the movie, thats human nature. Secondly, children need to learn about death, I dont know why our society is so afraid to tell our children about it, because its as much a part of life as living is, and frankly I think they did a wonderful job in approaching the subject matter. I also think its extremely important that we teach children, even young children, about death, but thats not what the story is about, it embodies the most important principles of all, which are love, trust, loyalty, integrity, and to keep fighting, no matter what the obstacles, to do what you were born to do, and that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. How can you criticize that? Those are wonderful virtues to teach our young children, and its even more wonderful if they learn about death in a setting which they can understand and comprehend. Why do you have to ruin a perfectly good movie with this crap? Im so fed up with people constantly looking for the bad things in life, I absolutely loved the movie, especially because I am married to a Mexican guy, and even though Im so white and clear, Im in honorary Mexican, as I have adopted their culture and their traditions as my own. Whether you choose to except it or not this movie was incredibly well done and very well researched, so please, stop the hate, theres already enough hate in this world as it is, every time you turn on the news its nothing but hate, so please give it a rest, and allow us to enjoy something that leaves us happy and with good memories. Why does there always have to be someone who wants to ruin it for everyone else? Probably because theyre so miserable they want to drag everybody else down with them, but frankly, I dont want to hear it, and Im pretty sure Im not alone.

I'm felt sorry for everyone in the movie for real
Hector because all those years of someone stelling what could of Been his moment in taking his credit with no hope and his inesent daughter coco too
Ernesto cause now that everyone knows hes a frawd what's he have left what's he ganna do in he was such a fool in probably now realizing it now that he was exposed yah seems like a second ago I was the best then time just flys by in I'm drowding in shame because of a little boy in even if Ernesto does try to pick him self up on his feet I don't think any one will like him they probably laugh or get angry or both and if he is forgotten who knows what's next besides being forgotten endless theres nothing worst then being for gotten so de la Cruz has to choose if he wants be laughed at in people getting mad at him or forgotten or even worst HELL but Ernesto dosent have a choice it's up to if people are ganna like him or rember him or just remember him then a giant bell falls on him twice so yah he has a lot of worys if he even cares cause one of these days he is ganna care if he don't but he diservse it
Then migual cause Ernesto was like who he thought was the nice in good guy Miguel looked up to him in did not know how foolish Ernesto is Miguel probably regretted that and if Ernesto never did get exposed and Miguel still falowed ernestos people are probably ganna look at Miguel like ew and if people some how found out about de la Cruz with out Miguel going to the land of the dead and they just find out people are ganna look at Miguel in say in you atraly liked him

I get that this movie is not for everyone but FIrst thing you should have done was watch the trailer AND research before letting your touchy kid(s) watch a movie. Day of the dead is a beautiful thing. My kids dad is a real mexican and he even said he loved the movie because our kids learn how mexico is and the way his people live there. Parents always have excuses to complain. Speak with your kids instead of being strict and letting them learn on their own if they cry or question. I am childcare certified and when reaching my certificate I learned that there is more and more parents every year causing kids to go behind the parents back because the parents think they a protecting from reality but IN REALITY, Parents are causing more problems. Which these kids that have that going on can possibly experiment/investigate on their own
So all the complainers are the real blame for us who have common sense and looked into it well already knowing how our kids will react by watching our kids closely in general towards these kinds of events
Also the kid about the boy not following what the family says. That is normal. YOUR SON WILL SEE THIS IN LIFE. stop using the movie as an excuse.

I did see the Olaf short. I kind of agree.
Its a decent short but its. not short by any means. They also put it in front of the wrong movie.
You have a movie about dia de muertos and put a Christmas short in front of it. it kind of makes no sense and just serves to annoy people. I would have been more happy with a new 10 minute short featuring the three caballeros and Halloween celebrations in other counties than. frozen again.
Don't get me wrong, frozen is good. I like it but don't overuse it.

Problem is, people are to bloody sensitive nowadays. The movie was great, and many mexicans that have mentioned it have loved it too. Parents offended - stop being so bloody sensitive, and stop teaching your kids to be so bloody sensitive. Dont like it, dont watch it again, or go make boring as movies yourselves: ). im super glad about one thing, that disney wasnt successful in claiming rights from the culture, out of greed.

I love the film. I too sobbed at the end it was sad and happy. But gees. This is life. If this too much for your kids its a red flag that you are not doing your job as a parent. Its a tough real world and if you dont teach your kids to navigate and succeed in this anxious world then your kids will have a meltdown.

The people are just being babies about the chancla it is just something that kids have to understand I believe it is fine my family is Hispanic and myparents used to do the same thing. It is for kids to behave and Im sure most kids that had that in there life would also understand if you dont oh well

I watched Coco with my parents and that Olaf short was cute but definitely way too long for a short. I didnt care about it because I knew it was going to be shown but my dad kept asking is this the movie? When is it going to start? How much longer?

They also went to mexico to get the reality on making this movie, America has things that are not agreeable to mexico. So judge that all you want. It is not good to lie and these complainers ae basically asking for it.
