I don't think Mulan and Pocahontas would have anything against each other. As a soldier, Mulan would probably rather prevent a war if she had the chance (not possible with the Huns. In Mulan 2, she never told the princesses not to marry for peace, she was just upset that the alliance had to work that way. She was willing to go through with the marriage herself in their place, rather than just forgetting the alliance. I think she might have eventually developed another plan for the alliance too (like to promise gold or something) but without the Emperor's permission to do that, it was easier just to offer herself. Hopefully that's what Mulan and Shang did at the end, and hopefully the Emperor was okay with it.
