You know, I have never heard of young male Disney actors having the same unrealistic expectations imposed on them. There may well be some, since abusive manipulative people are rarely discriminating of their targets/victims. The reality is that the way you are treated by someone says more about their character than it does your own.
We see and fight against slavery and mistreatment of human beings in other countries so readily, yet we still turn a blind eye to the same behaviour in our own backyards. Something has to change.

Not a huge fan of her singing but liked her performance in The DUFF movie and I thought she was gonna become iconic for a Regina George type of character soon. It's sad that with hindsight I now realize why she was good at that character. She was probably venting her anger via the role. People do that. I sure know I do.
