Okay so a few things. Mother Gothel was a wood nymph that trapped Rapunzel looking for coven members. Snow White did not steal Prince charming. Cinderella and Snow White both had nameless princes in the animated movies, aka Prince Charming, both princes where given names. Now Peter Pan. Did not create Neverland. He connected himself to it to become a permanent resident. Also didn't lie to the lost boys. He collected them with his pipe. A magical instrument that only boys who felt unwanted and unloved, or where orphans, could hear. Then in a way kidnapped them so he wouldn't be alone on the Neverland Island.

All the characters had dark alterations. While some born evil, others had origins to explain how and why. Fun to watch actually. Example: Cartoon peter pan took orphan boys who knowone wanted and gave them a home. Once upon a time had a much more darker twist as peter pan simply kidnapped boys and force all but one (one was actually loyal) to be his minions. All in all most became bad ass fighters of sorts. But maybr thats just how i see it.

I just gotta say that my favorite show is Once Upon A Time and that my favorite original character that was featured in this video is Belle and my favorite One Upon A Time character is Rumpellstiltskin which kinda works out since in Once Upon A Time they fall in love although them falling in love is not the reason that my favorite character from Once Upon A Time is Rumpellstiltskin.

I liked that MacIntosh got a glow-up in OUaT, from his character in BRAVE; in only like two appearances, he went from a temperamental & vain man who had no faith in Merida, to loyal & devoted- & it looked like there was a little somethin-somethin growing between the two, by the time of her coronation. Didnt hurt that he was played by Paul Telfer in live adaptation!

3: 31 but i tough all the nameless princes like Snow Whites and Cinderellas has that nickname Prince Charming from Snow White and Prince Charming from Cinderella on the gold age of Disney the only one with a name was Philip from the sleeping beauty then in the silver age it came Eric, Adam and etc etc

I LOVE both Disney and OUAT versions! I love Ariel OUAT and Disney. I met Jamie Chung aka Mulan. I just feel bad she did not get a happy ending. Peter Pan, I cannot watch the Disney version ever again bc Pan storyline is just messed up. I LOVE Hook! S7 Rapunzel storyline is messed up

I believe why Snow White has to be a protagonist is because Snow White and Seven Dwarfs was Disney's first animated feature film and have to honor that. I believe this is the only time to see a live action Caucasian Ariel and I believe Rapunzel from there was supposed to be black.

Some characters are very similar to the original, some are not even close.
But Elsa and Merida are very stunning. It feels like I just watched the DvD and they jumped out of my TV.

I love Once Upon A Time! However I think they could have been more creative with season 7. As we now have 2 Cinderella's, and 2 rapunzel's (in season 3 the tower and Jacinda)

My favorite was Captain Hook and also I like him better because I watch the whole series and finish that one year ago this year is 2021
