Netflix drama The Crown is a royal joy. Now in its fourth season, the series doesn't get everything right, but it usually comes very close. It's easy to see creator Peter Morgan and his crew have done their research with all the energy of Sarah Ferguson cheering on rocker Meat Loaf at the It's a Royal Knockout tournament back in 1987.

You know you're British, when you wince at the narrator's mispronunciation of 'Burghley'.

What drew me into this show was their attempt to be accurate. Their shift in focus doesn't sit well with me.
