All the ladies playing MJ did a great job. But I think Zendaya's done the best job and plays the best/most interesting character. She is brilliant, brave, and resourceful. More than just a member of the mental decathlon team, she is the main reason they win the National Championship and that earns her the leadership role of Captain for the next season. And while genius Gwen is to attend Oxford, equally genius Michelle is to attend MIT. Michelle Jones is also a part of the Spider Man canon via the scripts from the great Spider Man cartoon some years back. Michelle Jones, aka MJ, is a highly intelligent science Major at University. That MJ is Peter's good friend and lab partner. And she is black.

Zendaya did such an amazing job and played the more relatable MJ which I loveee (also massive Zendaya fan, Kristen Dunst's MJ was more the comic classic one which to me and probs many others would be the more iconic MJ as we all grew up watching the Tobey films. Both actresses did excellent. However, if it comes to romance Peter and Gwen Stacys romance was unmatched in TAS and I loved them as a couple alot cuz of the chemistry.

mcu mj was the best. the most down to earth. she was never dolled up the entire trilogy, pretty much her natural look throughout, that was very refreshing to see. she also had the better character development, having been very cynical and pessimistic at the start, then became hopeful and positive in the end. the others were great but zendaya just had more substance overall.

It is not the artists, they are both amazing in their own right, it's the shiy writing of Z's MJ for me. There is nothing to describe her but awkward spiderman girlfriend. I don't even get why Peter is in love with her, there is chemistry for sure and in this case, it is all that makes them look valid as a couple.

I live zendaya, but the way Kristen dunst portrayed Mary jane is more memorable. From the upside down kiss to the damsel in distress. Even in support to Peter Parker; she did a hell of job to face adversity with him.
