If they make a second movie they need to show Cruella's mental breakdown. Cuz I love Emma Stone's work here, but Cruella lost her madness, in this movie.
It doesn't connect so much with the plot of 101 dalmatians. She needs a mental breakdown,
To lose her mind, actually they should explore this side of her on the next movie, if there's one, and then humanize her again, giving her a different ending of cure, or hospital, maybe they can crossover with DC and she ends up in Arkham Hospital Infinite possibilities. lol

Stop referring to the films as versions, they're not versions like a remake would be all 3 films are sequels with one being a prequel. When you say this version it sounds as if this film is someone else's take on the same story when that's definitely not the case. Would you say Robert Downey Jr played Tony Stark in all the versions of Ironman? Or would you say he played Tony Stark in Ironman and it's sequels?

Honestly the one thing I loved beyond all reason in 2021 is Jasper and Horace. They were extremely fleshed out and cunning in their heists as well as compassionate. I just wish they had stuck to Cruella manipulating them and using their own kindness to their detriment. It would have further established her as a horrible villain, even worse than the original. if the fur coat had been real as well.

You all show scenes that are not actually in the movie unless they are in the ending credits. I vaguely remember the 101 Dalmatians story since I was born in the 80's and also vaguely remember the 1996 version but I do appreciate this being up because the cruella movie was soo good it made curious on the prior versions.

Tbh I didnt like Cruella. The whole vengeance play doesn't make sense to her evil in the main Dalmatians film. The movie was pretty predictable from scenes to even dialogue. Emma Stone did a good ass job with what she was given but the film has a lot of flaws.

I never ever liked Roger. I always thought he was annoying even as a child. But l don't understand why cruella is made out to be such a villain when people wear leather all the time. Is everyone suddenly vegan?

I wish Once Upon a Times Cruella was added to this list. She was the first one that I seen controlled the Dalmatians and they obeyed her. The Dalmatians were evil and OUAT also gave Cruella an origin story.

Maybe she didn't start smoking yet in the 2021 version. She was still young. Maybe smoking came later, as she smothered herself in Depression and stress about her mother. Both of them.

Glenn Close was the best
I also found it really interesting that Anita was played by someone who was so completely different from the original version of her in the 2021 version

Stone Cruella was excellent in her role but that Cruella was not Cruella de Vil
Could have been great as a stand alone movie without slapping the name of a disney villain on it.
