They may be often compared, but the Little Mermaid is too cliched for me while there is more depth and a breath of fresh air in Luca.

Well the creators who made luca are basically the same creator who made the little mermaid and the person who voiced luca is gonna be the voice of that yellow fish that I forgot his name and he is gonna voice that yellow fish in a future live show at Disney I think.
