On Set With The Voice Actors Of Disney's Pixar Movie Luca! Hey The Things fam! Today, were taking a look at who voices Disneys Luca! The voices behind these characters may look different in some cases, but their performances match the characters perfectly. Ever wonder what its like for a voice actor versus a live actor? Youre in luck because weve got footage of what these Luca scenes looked like behind the mic. Jacob Tremblay is no stranger to this type of work. He has actually been a voice performer for many years, voice Pete in Pete and the Cat. Hes also the voice of Flounder in Disneys liveaction remake of The Little Mermaid. Tremblay is joined by another young actor, Jack Dylan Grazer but this was his first voice over job! He portrays Alberto amazingly well and brings to life the enthusiasm and wild spirit. Emma Berman nails her role as Giuliana, the new friend of Alberto and Luca, training and motivating them so their team can win. Bermans animation behind the mic is incredible to watch her performance is just radiating. Maya Rudolph slays as Lucas mother her performance as a worried, but spunky mother is spot on. Her comedic chops amp the whole performance up to another level this is pretty similar to Jim Gaffigan, who normally performs as a stand up comedian. Gaffigan brings the protective and sometimes awkward dad to life perfectly. He looks just as awkward behind the mic when he is worrying about his wife Danielas actions! Sacha Baron Cohen is the voice behind the very strange Uncle Ugo the character is so wild and Cohen knows just how to animate him! Rounding out the cast are Marco Barricelli and Saverio Raimondo check out what it was like for these actors behind the mic!

I really enjoyed the movie in general. It seemed sort of like a cross reference to The Little Mermaid, except these were sea monsters and not mermaids. Furthermore, I like the idea how Disney and Pixar just keeps making better and better films. I sincerely hope Luca is a world with which you can explore in the next Kingdom Hearts game.
