Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass are two of the most visually stunning Disney liveaction movies. Most of what you see on screen was accomplished with green screen and VFX to create cgi scenes. They implemented a ton of groundbreaking visual and special effects that still hold up today. But have you ever wondered what these movies would look like if you stripped away all those effects? What do these movies look like without cgi? Were gonna take a look behind the curtain, and show you what you cant see when watching these movies on Disney Plus. When watching Alice in Wonderland, you may not think twice about what you are seeing on screen. But some scenes will surprise you with how much CGI was implemented. Even some of the characters were completely CG, while others were a hybrid between live action and CG. It will also surprise you to find out how they filmed these scenes. Sometimes they had stand ins for CG characters, and other times the actors were reacting to nothing but empty green screens. And for some scenes you might assume everything was done with CGI, when in reality there were giant props on set that the actors interacted with. Its a complex process that can bring to life some truly stunning visuals, and knowing what the behind the scenes looked like will make you appreciate the VFX work even more. Did you have any idea how they created the vast landscapes while you were watching the movies? Which special effect surprised you the most?

1. crazy editing
2. amazing acting and imagine that they had to act like half of the things in the movie were real.
3. great concept

None of this is real, it's all in my head. When you realize how little acting does it take to say this with conviction xD

Is it weird that the red queen looks better with the large head and the regular sized head looks off?

Can you imagine just swaying a sword around pretending to slay a jabberwoky with nothing there but green screen?
