Why we always got to pick the bones out of everything we all played most of the games so that was the premise & yes some of the translations were not significantly accurate, but I didnt play Red light Green light, we in my area played Peep behind the curtain, we played with marbles & simply called it Marbles, look at where most of the games originated & see where you end up
It is a great Series we all can relate to as so called Adults / overgrown children that wish & as Il Nam the Host. We had he did/does still wish

Yeah, subtitles in movies and series suck. I'm swedish and I always put swedish subs on swedish shows and movies, just like I do with english ones. A lot of times, however, the subtitles don't have nearly as many words or information as the actual dialogue. For example, a character could say The victim was found dead at 11: 00 on a sunday with blood all over his face and the subtitles would say The body was found on sunday.

the dubbing was trash, i dont care how much insight the voice actors brought, the dubbing just sounded exaggerated. contrived and forced. it no longer captured the emotions and subtlies of the original korean actors. My guess is that Netflix paid the cheapest VAs to do the english dubbing like they did with Lupin.

No diversity in the cast, no diversity in the voice over actors, no diversity in the production crew, this show is FREAKIN RACIST! I DEMAND IT BE CANCELED! Netflix employees MUST stage a walkout to protest this horribly non-inclusive, racist, xenophobic show!

2: 43 It's basic dubbing rules, if the word Hello! How was your day today? took longer to say in Korean than it does in English, the dubbing cast would find a shorter variation to say those words. e. g. Hello! How are you, Hello! etc.

It's not mistranslation, it's called localisation and it's absolutely necessary. Like the Green Light and Red Light title. It doesn't matter how beautiful the Korean title was, it needs to make sense for other cultures.

3: 10 literally every language that translates to English does that. Their words have different meanings and they use different sentence structures. Especially Japanese. Theres nothing wrong with them being different.

Koreans not speaking Korean (English dubbed version) is way too different, in a bad way.
Not that I knew it was dubbed, but I would not prefer it. I hope you can read subtitles in time!

I watched in Korean with Norwegian subtitles. And I actually want to give credit to the Norwegian subtitler who seem to actually include some of the original words from Korean.

it wasnt filmed until 2020, but in 2008 it was in the making as in writing it. It was supposed to be a film but changed. and was named round six in 2019 when Netflix bought it
