The actors and actresses behind your favorite Marvel superheroes and supervillains may not be as almighty as you may have initially thought, as even they find themselves having to follow rules when it comes to playing these larger than life characters. Whether it be staying fit and healthy in order to physically suit the role, having to endure extensive training from martial arts to dialect, keeping their involvement a secret or having to read the script in the most unusual of circumstances, the big heads at Marvel Studios sure were sticklers for the rules. Honestly, who can blame them? After even their own stars from the likes of Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland slipped spoilers to the public, they clearly knew that they would have to go to desperate measures in order to maintain maximum secrecy. Many of the stars behind Marvel also have to sign away their likeness in order for their characters to be used in marketing tieins and merchandising. The stars also have to relinquish their creative rights in order to prevent any conflict behind the scenes. Marvel Studios is owned by Disney after all and the mouse house is not one for drama, even going as far as to perform background checks on every actor and actress who joins the MCU and encouraging them to do philanthropy to better the image of the studio.
