hm. what I think might be that fog was a punishment due to King Agnarr and Queen Iduna has respondsable something between two groups.
Arendelle, and people in Enchanted Forest. may be they just like Romeo and Juliet, they are not allow to be lover. two groups has a war because people live in enchaned forest afraid magic will outside to the forest. and the opposite was also afraid magic hurt their home town, During the war time. King Agnarr and Queen Iduna both be exile the enchanted forest forever. and King Adnarr take her to live in Arendelle for peacefully new life without told anybody about saw the magic in their childhood(this also be a clue why Queen Iduna was look so bored and sad and feel so missed her original place when she watch the Northern Lights in the Sky)
This is just my own Theory.

I have a big suspicion that the fire is there mother cuz when he was telling the story she was really sad also she was looking out the window at the purple thing in the sky and then Elsa was surrounded by the purple fire that was in the shape of a heart idk I just think that it would be cool that Elsa had ice and the mother had fire

I think that the lady's hair is white because she is old. However, she might know Queen Idunna and is maybe a friend, just like Lieutenant Mattias knew Anna and Elsa's father. One thing that would be cool tho, is if Elsa ends up falling in love with Honeymaren or Ryder.

I got a funny feeling Elsa was cursed because when Grand Pappy asked King agnarr was Elsa born or cursed with ice powers he stuttered for a minute before saying born so I'm assuming a shipping cursed as a newborn infant with ice powers

The soldiers in the Enchanted Forest have a uniform very similar to those of Arendelle Royal Guards. I am personally wondering if a lot of Arendelle's people stuck on the other side of the mist.

I mean- it makes more sense that Elsa and Annas mum was more gingery when she was younger- as that explains how Anna inherited her gene as both the parents seem to not have ginger hair.
