The psylock and sabertooth story actually goes in two directions, one of those is the one you mention but the other is she doesn't make it, think it's a retcon, Also Jessie Eisenberg wasn't originally casted for Lex Luthor he was supposed to be the riddler, hence why his version of Lex was cryptic when explaining things, and his mannerisms were skittish.

Tooth actually had quite a big role during the original Mutant Massacre. That was also his first encounter and fight with Wolverine (I believe. He was SUPPOSED to be his father, but he started off as an Iron Fist villain, so.
