ANOES 3, while Kristin annoyed me with her voice and ear screeching screams that arent like Laurie Strode where she was a great scream queen, and if her scream wasnt annoying, shed be great. Where she was great was Nancy's death because if you have an emotional bone in your body, her dialog is perfect and real feels come from her, where if like me, besides Laurie and Jamie Loyd, Nancy is in a 3 way tie for the best horror role for a female, so it hits hard when shes crying ans saying she wont let her die because shes going to drean her intto a beautiful dream, forever and ever, while kissing her forehead. Those little wimpers before she looses it really can hit hard. Horror contains all emotions if done right, or at least have a great scene with an actor whos makes the scene their own. Example, Halloween II by Rob Zombie may be a mess of a story a times (like the moms ghost wanting him to kill as a way for him to go have some fun, when the ending and memory of Michael saying he dreams of his mom with a white horse coming to get him, so the spirit part at the end could have been MUCH MORE emotional, esp having Laurie look devious when she smiles at her mom, as i would have made her slowly see that she knows she waiting for something, and i would have just shown her eyes look up and tear up, with a slight smile of content and emotional happiness as the final shot after seeking her mom coming to get her) BUT I would say between Laurie and sherriff Bracket, with obviously it being done right by Danielle, but Annie's death scene and her dad finding her was too good for that film being as hated to even wrote or film it as Rob obviously wanted to just get it over with which either dont do it at all ir do it right because otherwise its insulting as an artist to tell others you made shitty art purposely for the paycheck.

There's one called Slaughter High, which was almost called April Fools Day before a different Horror movie with a similar premise took that name. It had 1980s Caroline Munroe in is which should please some Warrior of Love fans. ;3 Anyway, like the Toxic Avenger, the killer is a victim of a prank gone wrong causing him to kill people in novelty ways, like tricking them into drinking a beer which had a biiiiit too much carbonation. Surprisingly Caroline's character is killed off in a relatively straightforward way, being stabbed with a spear. So. I am kinda wondering if it counts. Cause technically, yes Marty did kill the final girl, but then all his victims come back as ghosts, and then it. all turns out to be a dream? And somehow that isn't the weirdest part. The weirdest part is how the 30 year old Caroline at the time was cast as a high school student. Hell, almost everyone was a lot older than their characters were supposed to be.

Sigourney wanted to go in Alien 3 and had a massive influence over the story. I still think Alien 3 was a good film and it's only real let down was the CGI. the others dying was just part of the story. whilst depressing. happened. The Alien films were never about success or happy endings. they were about barely surviving whilst everyone else died.

Most trailers of Cabin in the Woods advertised it as a generic slasher. Imagine many a surprise when it turned out to be a deconstruction of such a genre. I liked that it went above the norm.

Let's just take a moment to appreciate how many hours and work he put into this video? It's amazing, and I think they deserve way more than that!

Sometimes not even the final girl can be spared from certain doom. The fact that we usually expect her to make it to the end makes her demise painful.

I would've put the Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning Final Girl death on the list. It was more impactful than Sally's, I mean by a mile.

I wish Michael Myers movie trilogy wasn t retcon, well except for Season of the Witch, Rob Zombie s Halloween 1 and 2, and Halloween ends

Say what you want about Halloween Resurrection, but Michael finally killing Laurie is one of my all-time favorite movie moments.

Elizabeth from Leatherface in 2017. So close to the finish but a bear trap and insulting Leatherface's mother killed her off
