So it was bit shocker when Joel got, in the Last of Us Part 2. That put the game down, and have not gone back to since. plus I was playing during the lockdown of the pandemic, so it all felt a little heavy at the time for me! But I will go back to at some point for a fresh start on it, so Arthur Morgan dying in Red Dead Redemption 2 was even harsher then when John Marston got in Red Dead Redemption

I just finished playing it takes two, FANTASTIC game! Absolutely loved it however Cutie s death was NOT a surprise as May and Cody had been talking about it for quite awhile before it happened the brutality of her death was surprising though I nearly broke down into tears I felt so bad after her death especially after finding out her death did NOT cure May and Cody

Would've been better to've played TLOU 2 with Joel and Ellie, town gets attacked and then have the face off with Abby revealing why she torched the town, consequences for your actions (meaning the ending of the 1st game) and then have him die honorably, either blocking a bullet for Ellie or say him taking himself and Abby off a cliff or something.

legit why ill never play TLOU2. Neil Cuckman literally destroyed any character progression we cared about solely to promote a strong woman character that looks less like a woman and more like a hormone juiced gorilla. There is nothing of value in that game. Rip the last of us, you were good while your dev wasn't interested in politics.

Idk why people were shocked with Joel s death lol as soon as we knew we were playing as Ellie I knew he was gonna die and it was about revenge. No other character would get that reaction from us the players. Most were new and we barely knew them 3 hours in.

I didn't realize how hard hitting the ending to Conker was. I haven't played it in years but I don't remember the line delivery of I don't think I want it. I just want to go home. With Berry. Being so haunting before. Gives me chills.

I don t think Joel was unexpected it was just too soon. He got what he deserved after becoming the villain. But it was just we didn t get closure for the first game it felt. But yeah who cares vengeance is bad is what it came out to

Its funny how tlou part 2 tried to get us to be symptomatic with Abby have seeing her do that, and made her a character we played as. I truly didn't feel bad when l failed some of the missions. Joel deserved a MUCH better death

So we have 11037 getting pelted by a LOT of baseballs with the despair sinking in and then we cut to Yuri with a knife to be honest I feel like Leon s execution was more brutal, terrifying and haunting compared to Yuri s death

Killing off Joel was a big dick move for Naughty Dog. The reason they did that was because Neil Druckmann felt Joel's arc was complete. We sure as hell didn't. They should've just let him live, so he can reconcile with Ellie.

The death of Mengsk from StarCraft II should have been on this list. Mengsk was a vile man, but I'm sure not many were expecting Kerrigan to literally BLOW HIM TO PIECES with psionic energy.

I still can't get over the death of Roland in Borderlands 2. After you get the vault key, Jack just shows up and pops one in Roland's back. It was so fast it gave me whiplash.
