The fact the Barnetts got off on a technicality being that the jurors could not be informed that she was a 9-12 year old when abandoned to live on her own but instead under the belief she was 22 is such a travesty and miscarriage of justice.
Also that her biological mother was manipulated to give her up for not being able to afford her medical bills or the fact she was pawned off from adoptive family to family and was labeled a sociapath for acting out like many children her age do, this poor girl endured a life of sadness that no kid should ever have, and she was re-aged by 14 years effectively robbing her of her childhood.
And all the monsters that did this to her everyone from the adoptive agency, her birth doctor, the Barnetts, their family dr and judge that re aged her ALL got off scotch free. Disgusting.

In my opinion, all of them have a selective memory. I found it awful what happened to her but, but after watching so many documentaries, true crime videos, listening to podcasts and many different analysis, I don't believe that either Natalia or the Barnetts are 100% honest. She was wrongfully declared to be 22, that's a fact, but what actually happened in that family is still a mystery (with couple of facts.

How twisted to have your age changed because you happened to have hair in places a regular person at that age would perhaps not - while you are already deemed an irregular person by society at large. Also, I m just so curious as to how the hell that family earned all that money etc while clearly being, uhm severely challenged from the start.

I can't believe her adoptive parents got away with it. It has been proven that she was underage when they abandoned her in an apartment in another country. Natalia needs to sue the crap out of her adoptive parents and especially the judge who changed her age in the first place. She is the victim!

To be honest never heard of this story in till now! So have no option on this subject, so I don't want give bad judgment comment. Cause that will be bad, and would be putting my foot in my mouth. So would learn more about this subject, so I could state a option on this subject.

I think that phone call bit was definitely meant to set up more seasons. The mans still have her and post with her frequently. I assume those calls were like The Barnetts act like and they just cut that off. Otherwise, no way would 20 year old Natalia be with them now. She d bail.

She was obviously child because she got bigger, and looks more like an adult now than she did 10 years ago. The Barnets were just crazy people that took in a girl that had mental issues as well. I hope that she can find peace and they get charged with something.

This is horrible and disgusting. Poor Nathalia. Michael should have been stronger. He should have step forward. I'm glad he repented and moved forward. He should forgive himself. Nathalia forgave him. I'm glad both of them are ok now Great video

Natalia grace is a victim. And nobody deserves that abuse. Now she's about 20-something. Michael is a liar and he had something to do with it. I'm glad she's with a family who loves her for who she is.

The little people who were going to adopt Natalia before the Barnetts had pictures of her with baby teeth. She has clearly grown since her interview with Dr. Phil. The Barnetts got away with terrible abuse.

Those so-called parents watched Orphan too many times. Plus, they go out of their way to help their autistic son, but turn away Natalia, that makes them hypocrites. I feel sorry for both children.

I watched the full series with my wife and I really have no idea what is 100% true but this girl was definitely abused and she might of just turned out crazy because of that abuse
