Then there's Call of duty back in the day was actually pretty good with World at War and Black ops 1 and 2 it was a pretty good series up until recently so that's a really bad take to put the whole series is bad so that's another bad take. WatchMojo you should do more research honestly.

10 and 8. At least they earned controversy for the RIGHT reasons. And the first 2 Postal games (for what they were) were actually pretty good, with Postal 2 being considered the best in the series.
7. Diablo 3 got better with updates. Now that Microsoft owns Activision-Blizzard, one can only hope they fix Diablo 4 and give it the same treatment that Diablo 3 got. Starting with removing the always online requirements and microtransactions.
5. TF2: YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WAS SAID THAT YOU WOULD CARRY ON TEAM-BASED SHOOTERS NOT DESTROY THEM! BRING BALANCE TO THE FORCE, NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!
One can only hope SOMEONE makes new servers and makes Overwatch 1 playable again.
4. Hey! I actually like the Rabbids games! I mean, I know it's just wild and chaotic nonsense but I like that. At least it doesn't inconvenience the player via extortion by microtransactions.

2 and 1. With all that said, I'm gonna say something SUPER CONTROVERSIAL. I really think people need to take responsibility AND accountability. EVERY YEAR we hear about how bad these games and their latest entries reportedly are, and people still buy them EVERY TIME! This is far from a new thing too. These companies got it right MORE THAN A DECADE AGO! So to see people still falling for this YEARS LATER just boggles the mind.
But here's my question to all the naysayers. If you don't like them, why do you keep buying or playing them? Why do you keep giving them and their publishers attention? How do you even KNOW how bad they really are? Hasn't it ever occurred to you that maybe not buying these games and not giving them attention is the BEST DECISION YOU CAN MAKE? The worst attention you can give literally ANYONE or ANYTHING is NO ATTENTION! If people don't buy or play the games, they don't make money, and therefore, don't make more entries in their franchises. It's really that simple.

As someone who loved overwatch, I 100% agree. It used to be such a great game. Then they decided to get rid of all the good ideas they had, and replaced them with horrible ideas. I can actually say this was the one game that did loot boxes right, and I never even bought one. I always just earned them, and I loved the feeling I got everytome I got to open another one. I've honestly tried loading it back up, and giving it another chance at least 3 times since they changed it. Its just too bad though, and they try to justify it by calling it Overwatch 2 now. I'm sorry to tell them that it's literally just a glorified update because go ahead and put in your Overwatch 1 disc, and see what happens. I feel bad for anyone that actually went out, and bought it especially if they already had the 1st one because you can play Overwatch 2 using the Overwatch disc because it is not a new game like they said. It is literally an update that ruined everything good thay the game used to have.

Many of the abilities were identical and the gameplay and challenges felt exactly the same to me, probably because I had been playing 3 a bit before it was released, but it definitely didn't feel like a totally new game. I just couldn't get excited about it. I didn't even bother with Battlefield 2142. The last really good BF game for me was BF4 and 2142 seemed to be the antithesis to that.

I am not seeing COD. Ever since Infinite warfare, franchise is in shambles. They have one of the most creative studios, Raven in their hands but they don t give them full autonomy so games are shit. Campaigns are so boring and it doesnt feel all that special. They destroyed my modern warfare series there was a soul in those series now its a piece of crap

If gamers spent less time crying about games being garbage and more time actually doing something like not buying the same copy-paste franchise every year, maybe things would change. Every purchase of the same old Call of Duty or Madden game only proves to the companies that they can keep getting away with it.

The last gta i actually liked playing was san andreas, for diablo i never played 4 but a friend said it wasnt as great as 3, i never did enjoy overwatch myself is just the pvp based games arent a favorite genre, cod hasnt been as good since the original mw2 my ps5 bundle was mw2 but i didnt like it at all

Overwatch is only really hated [and badly reviewed] because it's under Microsoft now. That's just the way things are in the gaming world right now as for some reason sony fans are constantly downvoting and low score reviewing any xbox 1st party or non exclusive game even without playing it.

Legit, postal 4 is a much better effort than postal 3, as faulty as it is, with running with scissors showing they still care about the franchise and fans, and let s not forget postal brain damaged which is probably the best game in the series since postal 2.

I still play Overwatch but honestly i understand about the hate of the game. The story mode and the skill tree thingy that they cancelled was literally a bad move blizzard made. That one was just one very good example why the game was hated.

Thank you for the update, WatchMojo! I was able to purchase BF2042 on Xbox One for 15, after waiting for more than two years. I heard they fixed it well but there was no campaign, no scoreboard, and the game still contained bugs.

I still to this day can't wrap my head around how badly Blizzard mismanaged Overwatch. It could have easily gone down in history as one of the best franchises ever, but Blizzard made every wrong move possible.
