we’re counting down our picks for the greatest plot twists in movies released since the year 2000 thus far. There’ll be massive spoilers ahead, so consider this your warning! Our countdown includes scenes from movies The Prestige, Shutter Island, Atonement and more! What do YOU think are some of the best movie plot twists Surprise us in the comments! I loved 'The Mist'! Underated imo. I love the way King does his world building & characters within them. Plus the ending is so dark! If they had rolled up 5mins earlier! But I would have done it diff. Made the only deaths be from each other as the Mist was a chemical weapon hallucinegen. One minute you'd see a creature through one man's view, then from another who'd be seeing a diff hallucination!

best movie plot heheheheee. you're kidding right almost all the spiderman's movie villains are always connected to peter for something, that was predictable. hereditary was cliche, paranormal activity 3 already did it and that movie is overrrated as hereditary. orphan by far was the worst twists at all, a lil adult really! a witch or something could be cooler than a dwarf, that was ridiculous

The dumbest plot twist was Star Wars: The Last Skywalker when it was revealed that Rey is a Palpatine and that Emperor Palpatine was still alive his force self having survived the destruction of the 2nd Death Star and who was behind Snoke and the First Order. Disney couldn't have screwed up the Star Wars franchise any worse if they were trying to.

Ummmmmm, the ending of Avengers Infinity War isn’t a plot twistThanos HAD to win in order for Endgame to take place and since the two films were shot back to back, it wasn’t hard to figure out what was going to happen

I went to Rent The Book of Eli at Blockbuster. Was next in line when the guy in front of me, said And he was Blind the whole time! Brought it over to watch with my Dad and younger brother, and had to fake my reaction.

I love psychological thriller/horrors, and I was shocked at the twist in Identity, and that everyone at the motel were technically the same person. The fact that they're all named after states should have clued me in.

The Curtis thing in Snowpiercer doesn't make me look at him differently
It actually makes me feel more for him cuz I can't even imagine having to be that desperate. It would suck so much

Never has there been a video more capable of ruining more awesome movies for people than this. Of course I’ve seen them all and it’s a great list, but still really dangerous and mean

I think the Sixth Sense will be a mention in this video that was the craziest twist.
Update: well it was mentioned just not in the way that I thought it would be

Eli being blind, Bruce is dead, Snape loved harry mom, old dude killing all the people in the car 2 minutes before the army came. All these shocked me. Love it.

19: 44 Year 2000 was still in 20th Century. There is no year 0, so 1st Century was 1-100, 2nd was 101-200. 20th was 1901-2000. 21th Century started 1. 01. 2001

I remember being absolutely shocked at how dark the twist in The Mist actually was. Even Stephen King, the original author, wished that he'd thought of that ending.

The ending of The Mist is too obviously trying to pull at the heartstrings to be devastating. Especially when coupled with the noooooo! afterwards.

So many non hollywood movies that could go here. Where is Michael Haneke's work Raw Infinity war here was unbelivable, most predictable ending ever.

Gone Baby Gone. That movie killed me to the core! All these movies are so good. Great list Mojo. Memento will always be my favourite though.

Dear watchmojo:
I watch your videos while I shower. 30 min shower is crazy. Please keep them under 20. My wallet and I thank you.

Isabelle Fuhrmann was amazing at playing a deranged woman trapped in a child's body, especially considering her young age at the time.

When Shyamalan is at his best, it's mind-blowing! Also, knives out is a spectacular movie, hands down one of my favorites.

Adam's scream in Saw is pure terror. How did they get the actor scream exactly like how he did in the movie, i don't know.
