I find the word narcissist has become such a buzz word that it's lost any actual meaning. Anytime somebody uses the word to describe somebody i automatically assume the one using it is the toxic one. I can safely say I've never met a full blown narcissist. Tendencies Absolutely. But I'd describe them as selfish, not narcissistic.

Al Musta’sim should’ve been on here. He wasn’t really that evil. But his incompetence and weakness fueled by narcissism caused his to dismiss Hulagu’s Mongol army. Most of his subjects died and Baghdad would never be the same.

Kinda surprised Alexander the Great and Napoleon on the list. Yes they were narcissists but they are no where near as bad as many dictators like Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao etc etc.
