More proof that my favorite aspects in entertainment are ignored on purpose.
My favorite anime genre is rejected on an anime genre list video. Let alone my love for giant robot entertainment in general which is avoided so much.
I love female villains more than male villains cause their expressions are more intense, especially in live-action, and that's what's avoided the most, especially in female-led Action which makes zero sense.
I love 3rd-person video games where you can play giant robots/monsters, and only two new such games released in the past 10 years.
I love watching shorter man/taller woman couples characters for a change, but the gap is too broad.
I want to watch more Slasher Horror where the Slasher is a woman without body-swapping. How long it takes to get a new one makes no sense. It's Horror. We don't have to care about muh strength levels.
Interracial couples that happen to not include a Euro (white) person, it's fine if they do, but what I'm looking for takes forever to get back to.
I prefer intense one-v-one fight scenes in live-action comic book movies, that has been avoided since 'Spider-Man: No Way Home', and done poorly after Peter 1 vs Gobby.
I want more entertainment like Greco-Roman and East Asian mythology stuff, but expanded to what can come from Africa, Mesoamerica, the rest of Asia, Indigenous North America, Aboriginal Australia, South America, Pacific Islands, the Caribbean. All that is what's kept off of mythology and folklore entertainment too often.

Oh, I was wondering what you'd pick for horror. I've never watched this, but I know about it's premise and I know it's popular. I feel it's a horror version of the fate series or smth with it's alternate realities. For fantasy I thought you might choose something older like the Fate/ series, I was surprised you chose smth a bit recent. I've FMA Brotherhood and I love it, though I thought there might be Jujutsu Kaisen on this list considering it's popularity

I'm in the middle of watching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and I am absolutely in LOVE with this anime! It is now my second favorite anime ever! This is a gorgeous, emotional, and very beautiful series, and it is one that I believe everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime. As a longtime lover of the fantasy genre, I knew that I had to check it out eventually.

Very poorly named video, It should be most popular anime of each genre. I highly disagree with conan, higurashi and steins gate. having things like Monster, another, and to your eternity. Very poor selection of genres too. What happened to magical girl, shounen, seinen, isekai. This is an anime list completely oblivious of the anime culture.

I could imagine if Goku fell and crashed from the sky because of a battle in space and landed on an island where Luffy was just chilling

Frieren is awesome and it absolutely worth viewing, but I find it a little premature to have it as the best in fantasy genre. The first season only recently ended and there is plenty of time for them to fumble the next one. They most likely won't, but it is something that has happened time and time again.
