I was a child when the Vietnam lottery took place on TV in the 60s. My sister's boyfriend was eligible for the draft, so we sat with crossed fingers as they pulled out each birthdate. His birthdate was not an early number. I think it was somewhere in the 200s. I didn't realize I was watching something historic. I do know of some young men from our community who died in Vietnam because of that draft. Very sad. (I was just looking online and found that this lottery method continued through March 1975! My little brother's number was #37 that year! Thank God that the Vietnam War ended in April 1975! It gave me chills when I saw that just now)

I arrived in Los Angeles and was on a downtown tour on the day the Rodney King riots broke out. We did see some people running around, but just missed the rioting, looting and attacks on individuals in all of the locations the tour guide had just taken us less than an hour before. We watched fires burning all over the city and the new coverage since for days the airport and most public locations were shut down. That tour company had to know the King verdict was coming down that day and should have canceled our tour!

#35 it could easily be explained if there was some liquid trapped under it that was evaporating away which would cause a cushion effect and have it slide along the table. It also would explain why the glass would be stuck down on the table.
An example of this would be taking a lid off a steaming pot and putting it on a flat surface and watch it slide. Or putting a pan down with some hot water under it and if the conditions are right it will slide like that

13: 08 the glass moving on the table is super easy to explain, especially since it was apparently stuck to the table afterwards! the condensation pooled, and the glass on glass makes it so the cup slid a little bit. since there was suction, due to the movement, it would have felt stuck to the table afterwards. kinda surprised this one made it in and/or hasn't been debunked 100x over

Having a stroke is so insane. I had a mild one last year at 35 yo and trying to talk when you literally can’t is wild. Your brain is running three different monologues at once and although you are aware you just can’t make it make sense. Can’t even imagine going through that while on live tv.

Either WatchMojo is run by dumb people or they think viewers are dumb. This is a few clips of people dealing with real problems mixed in with hoaxes and super dumb interpretations of clearly non-supernatural images. Like the ghost in the graveyard that is very clearly a gravestone. Shameful video.

Idk about most of them, but when I was in high school, CONVEX, the Connecticut Valley Electric Exchange, the main routing station for power in the northeast, was about 100 yards behind our house. Anytime 1 of the larger transformers or fuses would blow, you'd get the same effect

As far as the draft lottery goes, the US hasn't needed it since then, but if Putin's rants actually go somewhere instead of just being rhetoric, it might happen again. Although if they try to pull a Red Dawn scenario, they will most likely see their end

32: 34 My understanding is that Djinn are not demonic but rather one of God's creations that possess freewill, although being higher beings than humans. They are not inherently good or evil but are able to make the choice as humans do.

28: 10 where did she get the idea that the draft is no longer permitted as every man knows, the US still requires selective service registration, which specifically exists so that they can restart the draft someday. poor research.

Idk I’m a graveyard keeper I’ve been in my cemetery lots of times around midnight 1: 00am I never seen no ghosts before I’d imagine restless spirits would stick around places where they died not where their body is

28: 06 Those numbers drawn in that lottery were the last, and no one selected were sent to Vietnam. I remember this well because September 14 was my father's birthday, and he was over 40.

39: 58 Wasn't there a recent season of Big Brother where one contestant snuck into bed with another contestant when they were asleep and the producers literally had to kick him out

If you put a glass of ice water on a glass table the condensation will move the glass across the glass table on it's own and suction the glass to the tables surface

The glass moving could easily have been due to condensation building up under the glass, especially on a glass or smooth table top. I've seen it happen many times.

27: 14 someone at the draft office had clearly been reading Shirley Jackson. And instead of thinking, wow! that was horrifying! they thought, wow! what a great idea!

It’s like, the underlying essence is right in your face, but the perfume is more worthwhile. Reality is not as it seems. EVERYTHING is about the supernatural.
