Michael Keaton as Batman pi$$ed me off until the first promo picture of him in costume with the Batmobile. As Kevin Smith said, It broke the fing internet before the internet existed.
With Heath, I had the same reaction but stopped and decided to get him the benefit of the doubt, I was wrong about Michael, so maybe I'd be wrong about Heath.

One that totally caught me off guard with how good he was in the role was Brian Tyree Henry, as the voice of Megatron in Transformers one.
I didn’t think he would be capable of doing something as serious and unique as he did in the movie and was pleasantly surprised. He was actually probably my favorite character in the movie.

When it comes to casting The Batman's II Mr. Freeze, it has got to be Jack Gyllenhaal because, as Marvel's Mysterio, he has already prepared himself for the action scenes with a fishbowl as his head.
Mr. Freeze's wife Nora, has to be Marley Shelton, his co-star from BubbleBoy 2001, his first comic book movie ever.

Timothy Dalton was great James Bond it is unfortunate that there was no third James Bond movie with him he had a three picture deal and he was very under appreciated at that time Daniel Craig was fantastic James Bond his performance reminds me of Timothy Dalton James Bond a lot

i wonder what people would have thought of Michael Keaton as Batman if Batman had a mask somewhat similar to robin. If only a small part of his face was covered would people have been able to look past his comedic history and think highly of his casting

Ben as Batman too. I thought that was a terrible idea but he was very good imo. I also questioned Heath as the Joker. I knew he was a good actor but I just couldn't picture him. I think everyone know how fantastic he was.

Robert Downey Jr. 's backstory & reputation at the time, ironically, made him perfect to play Tony Stark/Iron Man.
Thanks for citing Bob Kane as 'co creator' of Batman; Bill Finger was the true creator of Batman.

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss
RDJ as Iron Man
Daniel Craig as 007 (for me he did a great job)
Heath Ledger as the Joker
No other actors would have nailed the roles

reply

Craig made his owne vertion of Bond that was not all about action but a lot about the man himself and that is what worked so perfectly for his vertion however Sean Connery will always define Bond
reply

Halle Bailey as Ariel form the little mermaid people were concerned since Ariel is white and wanted zendaya and Ariana grande as Ariel, but she was amazing she nailed the character of Ariel!

One casting that I initially hated but grew to love, was Chris Evans as captain America. His previous role as human torch in the fantastic4 films didn’t instill confidence
reply

Bruce Willis play the role as John McClane was an awesome casting idea, how dare those people just laughing when everybody saw trailer of him when the film came out.
reply

Don’t knock it til you tried it. And in this case, these unpopular actor castings didn’t just KNOCK on the door, THEY FRICKING SMASHED THE DOOR DOWN, MAN!
reply

Michael Keaton as Batman
People: not handsome enough to be Bruce Wayne
Robert Pattinson as Batman
People: too handsome to be Bruce Wayne

Top 10 WatchMojo narrators that massacre the most names. This guy should be number 1 at finding the worst ways to say a name of an actor or character.
reply

I don't I've ever known a casting announcment for an established character to be received well online. People just hate everything
reply

Shame Heath was overrated by THE SHEEPLE who do not understand Joker's issues are not what The Dark Knight portrays. At all.
reply

I was in the small minority happy when Heath Ledger was cast as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Ledger knocked it out of the park.
