Challengers was not entertaining, it was more frustrating bc of how hateable and cringy every character was. Also Trent reznor and Atticus Ross’ score was amazing but they would edit it into the movie at the most random and unecessary times. They would also do unecessary and nauseating this would look cool let’s do this type camera work. The ending was also one of the worst and most exhaustingly drawn out endings I’ve ever seen. Like we get it ur doing cool closeups with their sweat and we get it their sweaty u don’t have to show their sweat now for 30 min I will say the rest of the list is valid however, although I’d put sing sing at a better place as well as The Brutalist and put in Nickel Boys or Ghostlight instead of Challengers

Good list, but for me it looks better if it was a top 20 list. Queer, A Complete Unknown, September 5, Inside Out 2, A Different Man, The Apprentice, The Room Next Door, The Fire Inside, Babygirl and Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl are also very great movies of this year.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Deadpool & Wolverine and Alien: Romulus are the best movies that are also blockbusters even if they were commercially successful or not. I’m wondering how much critical acclaimed movies would be released in 2025, because I see it as a year for blockbusters.

Seeing Dune: Part Two in IMAX was the GREATEST MOVIE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I will remember this theater experience forever! Everything about Part Two was absolutely phenomenal, from the story to the acting to the incredible score by Hans Zimmer! This is honestly one of the best films of the decade!

Wow I’m disappointed in this list
No Sonic 3, Inside out 2, Deadpool and Wolverine and Moana 2 yes Moana 2 Ik ppl said it’s bad but I was also those ppl to say it didn’t need a sequel gave it a chance and I loved it

The Fall Guy ans Furiosa both were released around the same time and bombed at box office despite being better than decent pictures. Hope it's because of bad release time rather than people losing interest in Hollywood.

Dune part 2 was ok, but I didn't care much for the rest of the list. As soon as the ad for a movie is critics praising it, I know it's not for me. Deadpool and Alien: Romulus were the movies for me this year.
