They should not be supporting someone kicking someone out of their buisness when the customer is just trying to be civil. Those pink orders papers should be illegal. People have the right to go to any buisness unless they are being threatening. The police should only be taking care of real crimes and if not they should be put under investigation. Period. I will not stand for me and those like me being kicked out of someone's buisness because of so called harassment when I was not harassing anyone. I have Aspergers/Mild Autism and I will not stand for it.

Police officers trained in weapons handling kill innocent people for various reasons including bad decisions and yet here in usa untrained individuals can get a permit to carry a concealed weapon claiming they can stop criminals, yeah right. It should be illegal for people to carry concealed weapons on themselves or vehicles.

I don't like cops as much as the next guy. But George Floyd was complaining about not being able to breathe as soon as he was pulled over. ask any nurse or parent, when someone says they can't breathe all while screaming about how they can't breathe, they can definitely breathe.

Not condoning the cops actions, as they should be accountable for murder, but George Floyd resisted arrest and it took 3 men to restrain him and he was under the influence of substances. He should not be immortalized with monuments or statues when he doesn't deserve to be.

Sitting on the other side of the world and somehow it still shocks me how American police acts. Maybe it's time to look at other countries that take longer time educating people wanting to be cops and make better sure not to get trigger happy people in this line of work.

The George Floyd incident, although unfortunate, was brought on by the victim. Maybe if he wasn't overdosing he wouldnt have died. Maybe if he wasn't a career criminal, the cops would never have been called in the first place.

This doesn't even begin to touch the surface of the brutal incidents where cops didn't receive ANY punishment, or ridiculously lax punishments
This list, sadly, should reflect the wide range of police brutality.

I trust a firefighter more than id ever trust a cop. Whenever a cop is caught doing bad police departments always prioritize protecting themselves instead of the people they took an oath to serve and protect.

I live in Minnesota and have driven through the area in Minneapolis where George Floyd was killed. The protesters left it looking like an absolute war zone. I feel so bad for the people that live in that area.
reply

Thank god for cameras, either the body cam or smart phones, now police can be accountable for their misconduct. Back then, it was the police words vs. the victims, and by accounts, the victims usually lose.

How corrupt does a system have to be when someone who is meant to protect you can do whatever they want with no consequences
Edit; if you want to see the biggest criminals look for those in a uniform.

I saddest part of the list most of these VICTIMS are black. It’s despicable. I got tears in my eyes seeing that poor black kid busted all up for no reason.

Can Police Officers be fired for being racist, being gun happy, causing innocent people to die or get hurt or for jumping the gun by assuming things
reply

It's amazing how an occupational title can get to some people's heads and make them feel that they are above the law and can do whatever they want.
reply

Cops need better training in alot of things. just so they dont keep being rude (to people) or terrible in certain situations.
reply

Not all cops are bad, but there is currently no system in place to remove the bad ones, so until there is, all cops are bad.
reply

All of these incidents were horribly troublesome! And these law enforcement officers are supposed to be protecting the public!
