Guy here, watching because i have nothing else better to doGirls always say that when they get their periods, it's so embarrassing and such. I have seen dozens of girls in school run off crying because they are so embarrassed of people finding out. Chill out girl Us men know that it happens to all women and you shouldn't be embarrassed. Just head to be bathroom, change (yes i agree that pads are too loud, I can always tell when my sister is on here because I hear that RRRRRRRRIPPPPPP. I even had one girl over to my house not long ago who got her period and cried and wanted to go home. Just sayin that you shouldn't be so embarrassed about it. It's a natural thing and you shouldn't be worriedAverage man, signing off

The happiest day of my life is when I went through menopause I had horrible, heavy periods starting at age 11 clear up into my early 50's. In fact, my mom should have taken me to an OB/GYN because they were abnormally heavy. In my 20's I had to wear Depends at night. Not only do I not have to waste money on feminine hygiene products, I don't have to lug around a big old purse everywhere I go that has enough room for half a box of Super plus tampons and a couple of full size napkins.

This video is about periods and it didn't mention endometriosis once. Thats so disappointing. It's a health condition that literally trys to kill you. Your own body trys to kill you. I know because i have it. I had to get a hysterectomy at 34 because my body wouldn't stop bleeding. I still have pain and everything else, i just don't bleed now.

Dysmenorrhea was dismissed as psychosomatic. I am really angry. And more pathetically it's women who sometimes say this. I remember how I was kept awake all night by the pain and my mom was annoyed when I crept beside her telling her I couldn't fall asleep. She knows I won't die. Luckily my dysmenorrhea is much relieved bc I exercise a lot now.

The one good thing about capitalism is in it's ever lasting quest for new markets minorities (you know like half the population) will have more products catered to them and the shaming goes to combat with financial interests. I cried during the segment about trans men. Inclusion is such a beautiful thing.

Okay so almost everyone I talk to says that their period usually lasts a week but like. mine usually only lasts 2-3 days. please tell me Im not the only one with a really short period? (And before anyone says itll change as I get older, Im 20 and have always had really short periods)

My grandmother was born in '31 and had about 5 sisters I think? Anyway, she said their periods would all sink up around the same week and the neighborhood boys would know to stay away for that week because they'd see the period rags hanging out to dry on the clothesline.

Im glad that I watched this, it brought attention to the fact that our mothers were the start of proper tampons and pads. Its always been something at my disposal that I didnt realize it had to start somewhere. Thank you mom, you make me proud to be a woman.
